Vintage Motorcycle Rally

Before the Rally, fliers are distributed to area motorcycle shops with a location map.
Even if you don't enter a motorcycle, this is a great destination event. It provides the opportunity to examine pristine examples of many seldom-seen motorcycles in a friendly, relaxed, open setting. Lunch is available along with demonstrations including custom wheel-building and valve clearance adjustment.
The 2007 Rally will be held at the Kansas Speedway, I-70 & 435 in Kansas City, KS Sunday June 10th from 9am to 5pm. Five bucks gets you through the gate ($10 if you're an exhibitor or vendor).
Over 100 classic and vintage motorcycles are expected and will be displayed in an indoor garage in the infield of the Speedway. Up to 3,000 visitors are expected. There will be stunt riding exhibitions, vendors, a swap meet, and possibly demo rides on new bikes.
Canon Photographic Equipment and several area Canon dealers have joined the sponsor group this year. Canon representatives will be here to assist everyone in creating better photography. In addition, Kansas City-based, world famous photographer Nick Vedors has kindly agreed to host a seminar to improve your photo technique. This is a two-day studio portrait and on-location shoot coordinated with the Rally. Pre-registration required via Digital Labrador.
Part of the event proceeds will benefit The Dream Factory, a wonderful Kansas City organization that helps terminally-ill children realize their favorite dreams.
Hop on that bike and motor out to one of the best events of its kind in the US.
